I am a chartered clinical psychologist and a cognitive behavioural therapist. I am also a qualified EMDR therapist. I am accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and a member of the EMDR Association UK and Ireland.
I have worked for over 10 years in both the public and private sector. I worked within the NHS in London for several years offering specialist CBT to adults with anxiety and depression. I have worked using CBT with people experiencing worry, low self-esteem, panic, agoraphobia, social anxiety, health anxiety, eating disorders, generalised anxiety, worry, OCD and trauma. I have also worked in a child and family mental health service, offering help to families experiencing a range of difficulties and in a specialist CBT service for people following trauma. Before retraining, I worked as a consultant at a large international accountancy firm both in the city and overseas.
I have a special interest in working with people experiencing worry, depression, low self-esteem, panic, relationship difficulties and traumatic stress. I am particularly interested in working with parents and with anyone whose anxiety or depression relates to work or career stress.
I have a clinic in Lewes, East Sussex and work with clients from around the Lewes and East Sussex area including Uckfield, Newhaven, Seaford, Hailsham, Barcombe, Cooksbridge, Ringmer, Kingston, Rodmell and Glynde.
