Dr Janet Bradley, Chartered Clinical Psychologist, CBT Therapist and Founder

Professional qualifications

I am a chartered clinical psychologist and a cognitive behavioural therapist. I am also a qualified EMDR therapist. I am accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and a member of the EMDR Association UK and Ireland.

Experience

I have worked for 20 years in both the public and private sector. I worked within the NHS in London for several years offering specialist CBT to adults with anxiety and depression. I have worked using CBT with people experiencing worry, low self-esteem, panic, agoraphobia, social anxiety, health anxiety, eating disorders, generalised anxiety, worry, OCD and trauma. I have also worked in a child and family mental health service, offering help to families experiencing a range of difficulties and in a specialist CBT service for people following trauma. Before retraining, I worked as a consultant at a large international accountancy firm both in the city and overseas.

Interests

I have a special interest in working with people experiencing worry, depression, panic, OCD, death anxiety, and traumatic stress. I am particularly interested in working with parents and with anyone whose anxiety or depression relates to work or career stress.

Dr Natasha Young, Chartered Clinical Psychologist

Professional qualifications

I am a chartered clinical psychologist and I am registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

Experience

I qualified in 2011 and since then have worked part time in the NHS across Sussex. Using CBT and other third wave therapeutic models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy, I have worked with people experiencing stress, anxiety, health anxiety, OCD, low mood, panic, low self-esteem, loss and perfectionism. Some of my work is with people experiencing these issues in the context of physical health conditions, and I have worked with people with a range of conditions such as persistent pain, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes and cardiac conditions exploring difficulties arising from major life changes and the challenges of managing long term health conditions.

Interests

Whether you want to explore a recent life change or a long-standing issue, I offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I have a particular interest in the emotional and psychological impact of physical health, and in supporting and empowering people as they negotiate life transitions.
