Fees and Payments
-
Our latest fees can be found on our website
-
Fees are payable by bank transfer at least 1 working day ahead of your session
-
Health Insurance Clients: If your sessions are covered by health insurance, you are responsible for paying any excess on your policy, any fees due because of the cancellation of sessions by you, and any therapy fees incurred that are in excess of your outpatients allowance and are therefore not reimbursed by your health insurance provider. Please let us know as soon as you are aware that your treatment will exceed your outpatients limit.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
-
Please contact your therapist as soon as possible if you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment thus allowing them to offer the space to somebody else.
-
If you cancel a session with less than 1 full days notice then we charge the full fee for the missed session. However it’s worth asking your therapist if they can offer you a different time, or a session via phone or Skype.
-
Weekends and bank holidays are not classed as working days.
-
Monday appointments - please be aware that if your appointment falls on a Monday then you will need to cancel by the same time of your appointment on the previous Friday
-
Health Insurance Clients - If your sessions are covered by health insurance then the same cancellation fees apply. You are personally responsible for these charges since your insurance provider will not usually agree to pay.
Confidentiality
-
All therapists working with Lewes Psychology follow the codes of ethics and conduct of both the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
-
Any notes your therapist writes about your discussions are confidential and will not be disclosed without your consent with a few exceptions.
