"My short course of CBT has made a huge difference to how I feel about myself, and the way I manage my life. It was transformative to understand the component parts of my general problem, and to realise that there is practical action I can take. My therapist was empathetic, perceptive and supportive, and I was sorry to finish the course of treatment."

“Janet has been a game changer - she is exceptional in what she does. Janet is approachable, totally focused, highly knowledgable and modest in what she does. With her expertise Janet has managed to change many years of negative thought processes. Right from the start Janet set out my goals very clearly in both my home and work life and absolutely did what she said she would. I cannot thank her enough and would have no hesitation in whole heartedly highly recommending her.”

"I had lived with some significant anxieties since I was a child, but it wasn’t until I was 30 that I decided to reach out for support. I was extremely nervous when I contacted Janet but she came back to me very quickly and was so warm and friendly when we met for our first session that I was immediately at ease. I have been going to see her for a number of months now, and have completed the work I wanted to. I can’t actually thank Janet enough for the fresh perspective, confidence and ability to cope that she has given me. It is not an exaggeration to say that my time with her has been life changing. I don’t experience anxiety daily now, and when I do feel concerned about something, I have strategies to deal with it. I also know that I would be welcomed back by her, should the need arise. I am extremely thankful and highly, highly recommend her as an extremely professional, thorough, warm and kind person. Thank you Janet."
"It was very easy to open up to Janet and share my feelings. The sessions were practical, goal focused, and yet sympathetic, guiding me to discover where my negative emotions came from and showing me ways to deal with them. Although I will miss our weekly meetings, I feel much more positive about myself and the future."

"I'm extremely grateful for everything CBT and you have shown me. The whole experience exceeded my expectations and I don't think I would have come this far without your facilitation, and ability to help me see things more clearly and become more empowered to make my life better."
"I didn't anticipate becoming as unwell as I did with post natal depression and not having had any previous experience of CBT I was a little skeptical that it could work. I couldn't have been more wrong; I was able to visit with my baby so didnt have the worry of organising babysitters and Janet welcomed us both with her warm and friendly manner, quickly putting me at ease. Over a number of sessions Janet helped me to identify and understand my negative thinking patterns and taught me to challenge them with sensible and rational ideas which, over the course of a few months, helped me on the road to recovery. Thank you for setting me on the path to enjoying life again!"

"Janet is perceptive and non-judgmental. This meant that I could talk to her honestly about difficult feelings and subjects. Janet was clear in her explanations, enabling me, for example, to understand the difference between worries and anxiety and to learn the tools to manage some worries and eliminate others. There was a clear plan to the work we undertook, with goals set and then regular reviews of those goals and resetting as necessary. For me this meant that I made steady, incremental progress overall. Any setbacks were dealt with by Janet in a reassuring way. In a nutshell, Janet has helped me to turn my life around."
